So, many of you are like aware of the Tangled Testing Youtube Channel. This channel is the outlet for a bunch of testing that we will be doing over the coming months and ideally years.
Tangled is mainly about increasing the raw material supply chain of filament for large print farms. But part of that is also making sure that that supply is reliable and consistent. To do that you need testing.
Testing also helps to hold us and other brands accountable. You can't fake numbers or wrap them in a "+" in the brand name.
These testing videos are that first step. We already have a pipeline of tests to be run. Over time we will run through all the materials, all the colors, and all the brands. Printing dogbones and breaking them. And then we will do comparisons and start to rank materials based on certain characteristics.
But first, lets talk about us. We did a video on the black and the gray tangled Filament. Long story short, the samples were 3x13mm dogbones. One of them can hold up 2x 200lbs guys hanging from it. As we collect more data we will see how that compares to everyone else.
Thanks again everyone who supports Tangled and to those who helped with the kickstarter that funded part of this testing machine.
