So as a good company we should probably keep this quiet. But, we are idiots, and there is no way that Tangled will continue to improve if we don't wear our black eyes proudly, if somewhat sheepishly.
Last week we had a shipment get screwed up. A big batch of packages were lost.
We found out about it, because a couple of customers reached out to us and said "Hey, my package is marked as shipped but hasn't moved an inch."
Turns out there were a mess of them in this situation. The packages got "shipped" but hadn't shipped.
We have fixed the issue that caused this. And went through and revamped the process that caused it. (Also, obviously reshipped all the orders that we think were affected)
If you haven't see your order tracking change in a few days do let us know and we will make sure to get is fixed. But we think we got all the affected orders worked out.
This won't happen again. But something else will happen in future. You learn from your mistakes and move on, that is the best that we can do. And we can hope that we learn faster than we make them.
