Black PLA: 3kg - Print Farm Spool
- Standard Black PLA (Ingeo 4043)
- 1.75 diameter (+/- 0.05mm)
- 3 KG of filament per spool
- Plastic Spool (12 inch diameter)
- Free Shipping
Benefits to User
- Less Change Over (You change a spool once rather than 3x with smaller spools) Now you can do more printing.
- More Cost Effective.
- Less chance of puncturing Vacuum Bags.
So Why 3KG. Well It lets us make it cheaper. Since we started the Tangled Project we have now reduced the cost of our PLA by 10% in about 4 months. And we are going to keep on driving.
Larger spools let us reduce the number of spools used and the number of man-hours in making a spool of material. This all creates savings that we can pass on to you.
It is ridiculous that US manufactured commodities like filament are not more competitive with foreign options. We are working to change that.
Orders shipping in 1 week.
We are targeting the end of 2024 to reach ~$10 per KG for filament. This is just the next step in our "Evil Masterplan"
